I agree 100% with everything you've said. Actual kink communities have a much, much higher understanding of and respect for safe, sane, and consensual than the average citizen and these guys wouldn't have been hanging around a message board called Without Their Knowledge if they'd actually believed that she did have knowledge and had given consent.
