I agree that it's easy to misunderstand one another on the internet and I'd be more than happy to have a real conversation with you. If you'd like to do that, I do however continue to suggest that you respond to what I've actually said here rather than where you believe "feminist writers" are failing to be effective or inclusive or what have you.

It's almost like you want to engage in a different conversation than the one I began with this story and are trying to shift the focus of it to what you'd like to talk about. I recommend that if you want to have that conversation, you write your own story. As I've already said, this is a sociological piece, not one about the merits and weaknesses of feminism.

And if you truly want to promote the effectiveness of women, don't lead by "joking" that they are shrill harpees who don't know how to engage in an actual debate and only speak into an echo chamber. It's the complete opposite of showing respect and support.

Now, if you've got a real comment about something that I have actually said and it's put forth in the spirit of good faith conversation or debate, I'm happy to engage with it.
