I agree with this entire story - but particularly this part. A lot of what incels suffer comes from wanting to be a "big dog" on the patriarchal hierarchy where they get beautiful women as trophies, not because they actually want love - and resenting that they aren't. The bad things that have happened to some of them (like virgin shaming) are terrible, but if we didn't live in a dominance hierarchy system where a marker of masculinity was hot and cold running sex on demand, this would be less of an issue. And, there'd be more empathy for each other as fellow human beings.

My biggest issue isn't even really the incels (who are kind of mentally ill as far as I can tell) but the other men who demand that we care about them - when they don't care a fig about women - women's loneliness, women's safety, the pervasive discrimination that women face... It's back to women as trophies and objects of male enjoyment and fulfillment. Not cool!
