I always wondered what had happened, and why he disappeared and you stopped talking about your friendship. That's just so beyond the pale bc he really purported to be "one of the good ones" who understood a lot of female experience and wanted to help make the world a better place in that respect. That's just so much of a betrayal!

While there are some nasty commenters who are clearly so unhinged they just need to be blocked, I most often clap back at snarky or rude behavior because I am not about to tolerate bullying. I feel like not engaging with them gives them the impression they can just keep doing that to me - and to other women, and that's not OK by me. Sure, maybe they want a reaction, but they aren't going to like the one they get from me and I do believe that has stemmed at least some of the tide of that sort of thing on my page.

When women share there experiences it does give other women the heads up to be on the alert, and I'm all for that. Really good piece!
