I am asking for precision, for data, for reasonable logical connections — not wild speculation that is based in things that are only related in a tertiary way. Go read the link I posted about actual research on the topic. I am under no obligation to be tolerant of people who are looking for ways to make light of serious problems.
Edit: An observation that is tainted by hundreds or thousands of years of socialization is not a clean observation. It’s essentially worthless. Do most women prefer animals and people to objects because that is their nature or because they have been pushed in that direction and told how they should be and what is considered appropriate for them to like? We’ll never know for sure because there is no way to remove a statistically relevant number of women from their society at birth.
In the story I recently wrote about the Na it was pointed out that because the women do most of the heavy labor such as farming, they tend to be stronger than the men and stay strong well into their 80s. Because they have a different culture, women are not “the weaker sex.” We have no idea what kinds of biological differences exist because we can’t evaluate them outside of our culture. There was a time in ancient Egypt where it was common for women to be the heads of the household and transact much of the business, while men stayed home and did the weaving. We have no idea how our culture obscures our biology. Continuing to talk about that as if it were a fact that is known, simply because it is observable, is perpetuating patriarchal gender norms.
