I appreciate hearing from you, and if what you mean by love is mutual affection and respect, then I'm with you. I don't need to have the same kind of feelings I have with my life partners in order to have caring sex that is sharing, life-affirming, bonding, etc. I do think hook-up sex that doesn't include viewing the other person as a real person in the "I'm horny, you're convenient" (so well put) way is not really good for anyone or for society.
