I appreciate what you are trying to do here, but shamanism isn’t a religion (because it has no dogma, no organization, no sacred book, and no recognized leader nor does it have a single founder) It’s also still quite alive and well all around the world, but has seen a real resurgence in the West in the past 50 years.
