I appreciate your comment but I did already note that some people won't have as easy a time. Also, that lonely people already have a name - lonely people, although perhaps we could come up with another one. At this point in time, incels refers to a hate group. That may not have been how the term originated, but language evolves, and it is what that word means today.

I've written quite a few stories about dating that give my perspective on how best to go about finding someone and dispelling some of the harmful, untrue stuff that so many guys seem to pass around to each other as gospel - using data from research studies and experts to back it up. This story was aimed at all the men who seem to have inordinate sympathy for incels (even the violent kind) and little to no sympathy for the women they loathe. or for lonely women for that matter. It's a symptom of the deep misogyny in our culture. I was speaking to that in this piece.
