I appreciated hearing more about what you do in your corner of the world and about the substance of your perspective. However... (and you knew that was coming, didn't you?) In the US we've had racial equality laws for 60 years and have yet to achieve anything close to racial equality. You don't change people's minds and hearts with laws. We need them, of course, but that is just the bare minimum. Although there is some discrimination that comes overtly from bad actors with ill intent, the vast majority of it comes from subconscious bias that is baked into the culture. How do you propose to have laws address that?
