I can see going more along the lines of solo poly, having very open agreements, etc., but there still need to be agreements about what the parameters are and lots of ongoing communication. “I’m going to do whatever I want and if you don’t like it you can leave” doesn’t sound like real polyamory to me or even an actual relationship.
