I can't write about every facet of what is wrong with our society in one 7 minute story. Additionally, I tend to write about things that I have either experienced or that arise in my life - such as learning that in three families I know the father has completely abandoned the kids.
Of course there are mothers who abuse their children, and that's a terrible problem, but I didn't write about that here. Nor did I write about fathers who abuse their children, simply those who abandon and neglect. You could just as easily have chastised me for not writing about that - fathers who abuse children, or some other unrelated to the topic at hand thing. It would have made just as little sense but it might have fit in with your personal agenda.
I am are under no obligation to write the stories that you deem appropriate or to take on your absurd self-pitying stance. Society does not abhor fathers - quite the opposite. It lauds and cheers them when then do the smallest little thing such as take care of their own kids.
Of course there are men/fathers who are trying to do better. I mentioned that more than once. Did you miss that part when you were chiding me for not writing the story that you would have preferred?
