I completely agree. I only mention that to ward off the inevitable comments which I've gotten before, that I'm advocating for a meritless "everyone is the same" society. I absolutely want to live in a culture that values the humanity of all, regardless of value extraction. I just know how the naysayers minds work and what's important to them.
