I completely and totally disagree with Hermes. Allow me to link you some stories that I've written which provide a wealth of citations which staunchly refute all his premises in the story that he linked. You may note that James Knight, who is a professor in reproductive physiology agrees with me and regularly praises me for debunking these types of outdated myths.
