I didn't say that no women have ever been mean to you - I pointed out that it's not a broad societal dynamic, and that overwhelmingly when it takes place it's in response to pervasive abuse from men over a whole lifetime.

Again, if that bully has been beating the crap out of you since you were a young child, just exactly how much sympathy do you have for them, even if they've come from rough circumstances? Expecting women to be super nice and super gracious to a class of people who have been harming them their entire lives is not a reasonable expectation.

And to be fair, there are times that you say things that come across as insensitive, such as "Why should men care, they are doing fine?" I'm gonna guess that the woman who flamed you was responding to something like that. Having someone throw in your face that they don't care about your pain is almost worse than the pain itself. Just something to keep in mind for future comments.
