I don't believe that men will solve it for the benefit of women. I'm hoping they will solve it for their own sakes, because it's literally killing them. We've been trying for 50+ years to get men to care about how what they do harms women and mostly they still don't. I'm not interested in bowing to male authority or being saved. I am interested in seeing men clean up their own house.

Also, research indicates that people who come from dominant demographics are listened to much more often than ones from marginalized ones and don't face the same kind of backlash. That's not fair, but what I care about most is results.

I don't believe that men are any more solution-oriented than women are, but because they think they are, I was appealing to that.
