You've got some sort of emotional sore spot that feels attacked when ever a woman criticizes patriarchy and you're not owning up to it (although it bleeds through constantly). I'm a social scientist. I talk about the facts of things, as well as the ways that the dynamics those facts create affect us. A lot of that is for the purposes of identifying current problems spots so that we can address them (since one can hardly address issues one doesn't recognized as problematic).
