I don’t know if this is exactly what you are saying but there is a fear in some quarters that allowing the feminine to rise means we’ll soon be living in a matriarchy — a reverse patriarchy where it is the men who are doomed to abuse and second-class citizenship. But of course, that’s just dominance hierarchy zero-sum thinking. In an actual partnership-oriented paradigm, the goal is balance and not simply to flip the power differential. So many men are cut off from a lot of their yin sides, and allow that to come back in does not indicate erasure of the yang, although it may feel like that to some people.
