I don't know where you live but in the US up until 60 years ago there were laws that made women second class citizens. Yes, patriarchy hurts men too, but if you want to get into a contest about who it has historically hurt worse, I'm afraid that men will lose that hands down. For example, here a full 50% of all women who are murdered are killed by current or former domestic partners. Is that a function of the way that men have been harmed by patriarchy? Absolutely, but it's hardly an apples and oranges comparison.
