I don't support people saying things like men are trash, but it's not respectable for a guy to act in a feminine "pussylike" way because women are seen as inferior. There's no two ways about that. 50 years ago this was an overtly held belief that was codified in law. What makes you think it’s now erased after a couple decades, just because we’ve made a little progress?

In nearly every culture's origin stories, the world is either sung or spoken into existence. Words matter because they construct and reinforce our reality. Don't be so naive...

In general, men do have better upper body strength, but there are a lot of women in the world who throw a whole lot better than you do. There are a lot of women in the world who do every stereotypical "male" thing better than you do. Trying to split the world into binary traits and cling to that for identity is stupid and pointless. In most hunter-gatherer cultures, gatherers provide about 60–80% of the daily calories. Meat is a an important but more sporadic supplement. And, in a lot of H/G cultures both men and women hunt and everyone gathers — because they are not that concerned with gender roles. They are interested in personal autonomy and survival.

And I'm not unsympathetic to the fact that younger men might feel both somewhat adrift and like all the focus is on women, but after literally 5k years of it being so deeply the other way, to the point where women were essentially chattel, to beat and rape as you see fit (until about 50 years ago), the pendulum is swinging the other way. And as you noted earlier, women are still dealing with a lot, despite some progress. It's still dangerous, sexually dehumanizing, and a whole host of other things that guys never have to deal with. Which is perhaps why some women lash out and say things like "men are trash." I don't think that's the solution, but I understand why some want to vent in that way.

And it's OK for you to talk about things that you struggle with as far as trying to figure out what it means to be a man today, but when you constantly say that feminism is to blame, what you are saying is that you'd prefer the days when men had unearned priviledge simply for being born with a dick. You're saying that what you really want is to feel free to subjugate women because you're afraid the only other option is that they will subjugate you. This is dominance hierarchy thinking and it's what's causing all the problems - for you and for everyone. When you can only see any situation as a zero-sum, where someone else has to lose in order for you to win, that's patriarchy talking. How about we look for win-wins and ways to have greater egalitarianism instead?

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
