I don't think any of those people are evil - not even Tate himself. I see him as pitiful and longing for something meaningful in his life. Unfortunately, he's opted for power and wealth rather than connection and humanity. But what I see him doing is appealing to the insecurity and basest instincts of men who want to learn how to make it in the dominance hierarchy rather than wanting to challenge the domination system and do the vulnerable work of taking responsibility for themselves to work toward a better system for us all.

This is the entire issue as I see it is that men mostly don't want to challenge the system, even if they are theoretically in favor of equality. They simply want to succeed in the existing system, even if it hurts other people (and themselves).
