I don't think YOU understand incels. I’ve actually researched and learned about them from a wide variety of credible sources (such as Secret Service reports and people who have gone undercover in incel forums). I’m not just “deciding” this is how things are — it’s demonstrably how they are.
I would love to see a more socially connected and compassionate culture - it's mostly what I write about here on Medium, but in the meantime vulnerable young men are being intentionally radicalized into a violently misogynistic subculture that has killed people. Not every lonely guy subscribes to this stuff (as I noted in my OP) but at this point, the term Incel doesn't just denote a lonely man - it describes a very dangerous and concerning group.
You guys need to stop spending so much of your breath asking for sympathy for them and more of it in changing the culture of masculinity that drives their isolation, anger, and despair. They are mad at patriarchal hierarchy - that's not something women can change unless men take it on as well.
