I don't understand - I thought you just said that women should go 4B and that was the only thing that would get men's attention and drive change. Now you're saying the exact opposite.

Single moms often worry that their boys are going to grow up "too girly" without a dad in the home, and can be even worse than dads at enforcing patriarchal masculinity. In addition, kids are influenced by more than just their parents - paying a lot of attention to peers, media, and other messaging about who and how they should be. I was reading something the other day about a well known feminist with a young son who thinks that feminism has "gone too far." Clearly, he didn't get that from her.

I completely agree that we live in a trauma-inducing culture and that everyone would benefit from therapy. We're not likely to get most men on board with remaking masculinity, but I do think we could potentially still reach a tipping point if more young men, in particular, got on board.
