I feel really fortunate that the men I've had sex with since opening up our marriage have never balked at condoms. It would be a total buzzkill if they did. My partner says they are no big deal, and he's happy to wear them when we engage with other people. I expect that to be the norm (even though it isn't). STDs are rampant in nursing homes for just this very reason.
