I get what you are saying, but I think the purpose of this is to drive home that even non-invasive sexual touch or words can also be extremely traumatizing, and psychologically damaging - something that you've already noted. But there are those out there who think, that if someone wasn't raped, they weren't actually harmed -at least not all that much. Putting these together makes it clear that this is not so.

I've also known women who were raped who were not nearly as traumatized as other women who were harassed or had had their body autonomy violated in other ways. It depends on the person, it depends on the circumstances. And, that being said, you are entitled to your feelings around this.
