I get what you are saying but this phrase is kind of an odd co-opting of a very intrinsic (and destructive) aspect of a patriarchal dominance hierarchy - where those with the most power use it to take and do what they want at the expense of those who cannot resist them. It implies force, and I'd like to see a culture where people aren't forced to do the right thing - even by a benevolent power.
