I have a really strong aversion to little pictures being printed onto things like paper towels and napkins. It's more than just thinking they are tacky, they make me uncomfortable in a way I can't explain.

But what I can very easily explain is what you've already identified about creepy behavior from men. It's not about not being attractive to that woman, it's about not caring whether you are or not because you feel entitled to her time and attention. It's the belief that she owes you something and that you are going to keep standing there demanding your "right" to her attention and appreciation of you because she's a commodity you want to acquire and not a person who is allowed to have her own desires (or lack of them), who just wants to be left in peace.
