I have never been able to understand why any woman would find that word a turn on, but you did a great job of explaining it, and although I don’t find it sexy in relation to me, I now have a better understanding of why some women might. For me, calling attention to the fact that I am breaking taboos and societal norms for liking sex feels like it still gives validity to the patriarchal constructs in the first place. I don’t recognize it as being valid to start with so I don’t feel deliciously naughty for breaking it, but that’s just me.
