I have read that one but you are right on-point with it. I’m trying to get some of the sex workers I know or that I’m aquainted with on Twitter to tell me what they like best about their profession so that I can write a story around it. I haven’t gotten much response yet, but we’ll see. The notion that sex workers are tawdry and being used by their clients is still a pretty pervasive one and it’s a completely patriarchal idea.
