I have really erect and protruding nipples and always have. Even though I don’t need a padded bra, I’ve always worn one, and now that I wear sports bras or no bra more of the time, I still wear nipple covers. I completely and totally own that this is me caving in to societal expectations, but I really don’t want the attention and scorn that comes from not doing that.

Last Fall James and I vacationed in Mexico at a topless optional resort (Temptations) and it was great. Most women of all shapes and sizes topless by the pool and in the ocean, and I didn’t wear a bra the entire week, even though you had to be covered up indoors. If they’d seen my tits all day, they could sure as hell see my nipples at night. Best week of my life!
