I have zero interest in most of these platforms. I'm on Medium where there's at least a modicum of civility, and Facebook, where I primarily talk to people I'm friends with in real life. Tik Tok seems like the Wild West to me, and Instagram is largely just gross. Don't even get me started about Twitter which was never great but has lately gone to hell in a hand basket.

I do worry about young men and boys being fed so much manufactured shit, but in general, standing up for myself on Medium has made me a much more confident person who is more able to stand up for herself in real life, so I guess that's a good thing.
