I haven't said that hierarchies shouldn't exist - I've said that conflating domination based hierarchies with ones of merit, which Peterson frequently does, is misguided. The "reality" that currently exists is the one that we foster and support, and the dominance-based hierarchies that our society is currently based in are harmful - they are literally killing men. For most of human history (like 97% of it) hierarchies of domination mostly didn't exist. Acting as if they are inevitable is just silly and what a pseudo-intellectual who doesn't actually understand the subject matter he is trying to opine about might do.
