I haven’t seen anybody advocating for the euthanizing of babies. Those are not mainstream or widely held views but rather flash points that are being used by anti-abortion activists to stir up people like you. Late term abortions are pretty rare and are only legal in very specific circumstances. Anti-abortion advocates are trying to paint a picture of soul-dead and compassionless people as the only ones who could support keeping abortion legal. Meanwhile, no-one believes that abortion is a good thing; only that it is a necessary thing in some cases.

“The Court resolved this balancing test by tying state regulation of abortion to the three trimesters of pregnancy: the Court ruled that during the first trimester, governments could not prohibit abortions at all; during the second trimester, governments could require reasonable health regulations; during the third trimester, abortions could be prohibited entirely so long as the laws contained exceptions for cases when they were necessary to save the life or health of the mother.”[4]

“In 1965 (prior to Roe), illegal abortions made up one-sixth of all pregnancy-related deaths — and that’s just according to official reports; doctors think the actual number was a lot higher.”

Nearly 1 in 4 US women have had an abortion by the time they are 45. The way to change that is not to revert to pre-Roe conditions with a high rate of death, but to make contraception and education available and affordable.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
