I hear a lot about people who aren't truly interested in their partner's life, job, or other interests and how they don't really want to talk to each other. I guess they are more interested in just having someone, and someone to have sex with (although how good can it be under those conditions?). I recently saw some dating advice from a man saying to keep her crazy for you by showing interest in what she is interested in. It struck me as incredibly sad that this was "specialty" dating advice and not just what people who really like and love each other do.
