I know that there are some significant movements in the corporate world to move away from dominator style management to a more cooperative one. I think this is perhaps our only chance — for larger society to begin to see that domination and hierarchy are neither necessary nor desirable.

I just finished rereading The Chalice and the Blade by Riane Eisler, and she has a lot of hopeful things to say about how we can begin to transform society based on our egalitarian history — but it’s gonna be a long haul, I think.
