I know this is a pointless question, but why was it "funny" to say that women have unreasonable standards of "hotness" (implying that men don't have the exact same standards)? What did that add to the conversation other than for you to take a poke at a women writer, even though you largely agreed with her that the guy she referenced had been rude.
And then when that was pointed out to you, I was the one who was out of line, and acting like "the word police" for making a reasonable and on-topic comment about your actions (and not about you, as you have asserted). Apparently, you have carte blanche to say whatever you want, no matter how erroneous or off topic as long as it gives you a giggle, and anyone who calls you on that is the actual problem. Hmm... that's a curious world that you inhabit.
