I know you are a true friend and ally who isn’t reticent about showing his support. Not many men say “my planet” directly, but it is a common subtext — “Get back in your place where you belong. The world belongs to men.” The fact that they are so bent on silencing our voices speaks to this. Death threats and abuse are meant to scare women (and others) into staying silent. And even when you realize that’s what’s going on, it’s still unnerving to deal with and it takes courage not to succumb to.

Some of us are too mouthy to ever shut up though. 😁
