I live in the real world. Who is burning books, restricting women's right to choose what to do with their own body, and otherwise trying to force everyone into their narrow, "Christian" retrograde belief systems? It isn't the left.
As one professor wisely pointed out, they have no power to indoctrinate students. They can't even get them to read the syllabus. What happens is that when students get away from the narrow confines of the world their parents have forced on them and they meet other people who come from diverse backgrounds, they realize that their parents were actually the problem. As Mark Twain famously pointed out, meeting people who are different from you tends to be a good thing. "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts."
Freedom of speech is not an unfettered right. It has many Constitutional restrictions to it. I suggest you educate yourself around that, because it sure doesn't mean that you get to say whatever offensive thing you want without repurcussions - which is what guys like you seem to believe.

“The key element of this Amendment is that the government cannot curtail or infringe upon these rights. In the case of speech, it does not mean that you get to say whatever you want to in any and all circumstances with no repercussions. You have no inherent right to that. There are all sorts of exceptions to the unfettered right to free speech as relates to the government, but there are also plenty of places where speaking your mind can legally get you fired, kicked out, or otherwise censured for saying what you want to.”
