I am about to turn 59. I wear short skirts sometimes because they often look better on me than shorts. I've started wearing a bra a lot less often and when I do wear one, my nipples still often show. I no longer care about that. I got my first tattoo at 47 and now I have 7. Three and a half of them show. I want to get more.

Aging with grace means no longer caring much about what other people think about how I look or what I do. Women who try to police other women into conforming to patriarchal norms are pitiful.
