I noted that in my OP, that single parent households are more likely to be poor. But that has nothing to do with needing a man around to raise a son for anything other than financial stability. Lots of women know how to fix things too (and plenty of men don't know how to fix anything). Sheesh, what century are you from?
But, as also already noted, sons of two opposite sex parents who fight a lot have the absolute highest likelihood of substance abuse and other problems.
What the statistics show is the complete and total opposite of what you are claiming. Did you miss the many, many mentions of that in the OP, along with citations to the studies? 🙄 Give it a rest... I'm not going to reiterate my entire article here again for you. Go back and reread it, and follow the links to the various articles and studies. And then if you still want to believe the cultural myth over the statistics, that's your prerogative.
