I really don't understand you! I've just spent how many hours demonstrating that Man Box norms hurt men, and that they drive violence, including sexual violence. The American Psychological Association just spent 13 years crafting new guidelines in order to better support boys and men around this - based on 40 years of research, but you don't think it's a "dire issue"????

20% of gender non-conforming kids (most of them boys) have tried to commit suicide. 85% of American women began getting sexually harassed in childhood - many as young as 10 or 11 years old, but that's not dire....? 38% of college men admit to researchers that they have coerced women into having sex that they didn't want to have (otherwise known as date rape). But it's unclear to you whether or not that's much of a serious issue. I mean, after all, it's just the way things are in America.... 🤦‍♀️

And, it's not really a big deal for loneliness to be at epidemic levels for men, leading to health implications as dire as smoking regularly - even if they aren't binge drinking, engaging in risky behaviors, substance abusing or taking their own lives....?

40 years of research on this, most of it done by men says that all of this has a huge negative impact on the culture and on men themselves - and that it is directly attributable to "traditional" masculine norms.

If you are still refusing to acknowledge that correlation, I'm not sure we have anything else to say to each other.
