I really think this is the nail on the head. It's resentment of a mom who wasn't there for him 24/7 because she also worked outside the home, much like Jordan Peterson's mother, who was a librarian. Butker praises his wife for giving up everything for him and making sure that he has the life he wants, all the while telling her that she has the life she wants too - which may or may not be the case. Who would know, he certainly never asks her, he tells her. 🙄

I see men like this as SO unbelievably weak.
