I so agree. A culture where your partner is supposed to be everything to you and feeling attracted to someone else is a sin is unrealistic and a bit toxic. He shouldn't ignore her when the crush is around, but if she weren't so jealous and needy about it, maybe he wouldn't have to. Perhaps this is not the right relationship for her, but in general, I don't think he's doing anything wrong.
