I think she's an amazing woman, but as someone who used to work at The Court, I think it would be a huge distraction to the work at hand. The Supreme Court is a very small and insular place and the Justices spend a lot of time together in what ends up amounting to be something almost like a family. This is how RBG and Scalia were able to become such good friends. However, their disagreements were philosophical and not personal. Even if Thomas and Hill were able to somehow put the past entirely behind them (something I don't see as very likely) other people would constantly be bringing it up and speculating on it as a part of any court business. I just don't see her as viable option for that reason.
