I think that part of the attraction of young girls is the ability to control them. I've heard more than one right wing man talk about how you need to marry a girl who is 16 because she hasn't already gotten too many ideas in her head about autonomy. She's more likely to "listen and obey" - although that's because she's a child who has been raised to defer to authority figures who become those simply by being older and male. She's pretty and too young to question me, too inexperienced to know whether I'm a good lover or not, and has no real sense of her self yet - so I can just capitalize on that and make her do what I want. It's both sick and pathetic.

I really feel for Brooke Shields. She went through so much.
