I think that's a large part of it, but it's not like trans women are actually gaining any real advanatages. There's a lot of violence and hatred directed their way simply for existing. It's kind of like the stupid old idea that gay people were choosing that "lifestyle." Who would choose to put themselves at such risk if they could help it? So instead, they are just being mad at them for trying to live as they feel themselves to be, which is an indefensible position.
