I think this is a factor although two-thirds of hetero relationships that open up are initiated by women. I also found the UK study interesting that said 78% of same sex marriages that desolve were between women.

Interesting that lesbians seem so vehement. Is there an age/generation factor because among millenials, open relationships are pretty common.
