I think we're finally getting somewhere here, but as I said in another comment, I don't believe you can address economic inequality until you address the larger system of inequality that is at it's foundation. Rich Blacks still get discriminated against. Female doctors still get marginalized and treated like second class citizens.

That discrimination includes unequal pay for equal work, inappropriate comments or actions from colleagues, and inappropriate comments or actions from patients."
So, as I said way back when we first started this discussion, your idea that fixing poverty will fix these other issues is not upheld by the facts.
