I totally understand that there are people who are abusers and assholes who use kink as an excuse to do what they want to do. I know of women who’ve had bad experiences with this kind of thing. And, that still doesn’t mean that the entire thing is rancid.
I wish I’d have thought to tag you on this thread — I was annoyed and not thinking straight and those who I did tag didn’t want to get into the mix, I guess, but I really wanted the voice of another strong women to tell this guy why they enjoy the D/s dynamic.
He’s someone who prides himself on being a feminist ally, and rightly so, but none-the-less couldn’t help but be condescending when it came to this topic. I didn’t call him a mansplainer to be a jerk — just to point out that it was going on.
