I wanted to learn to Salsa dance a while back. I just wanted to be able to express myself with my body in that way. My teacher convinced me that West Coast Swing was more practical and I had so much fun that eventually my husband started taking lessons too. We had a great time with it until covid hit, but although I loved learning with my husband, getting to dance with the teacher, who was an excellent dancer was the most fun. It was just exhilarating! So yes, get your ass out on the dance floor - whether literally or metaphorically is great advice!
