I was almost 28 when I got married. My father had just died, and I didn’t particularly care for my in-laws. There are times when it’s inconvenient to have different names and there are also times when it’s cool and works out well. James gets called Mr. Mylastname from time to time and he really doesn’t mind. That’s just one of the ways that I know that I married the right guy.
